# Encryption

Encryption is one of the key parts of the infrastructure. AES-secret key produced by the ECDH concept is applied to enable end-to-end encryption of emails and messages between wallets. The framework is already developed and tested. It manifests itself as an “[Encryptor Extension](/dapps-and-clients/encryptor-extension.md)”, fully open source and already available in the [Google Chrome Store](https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/encryptor/feolajpinjjfikmmeknkdjbllbppojij?authuser=3\&hl=en-GB).
