Open Community Projects

We welcome all new developers wanting to join and work on new dMail and dChat implementations. Teams can either choose from the list below or propose their own improvements.
We welcome all new developers wanting to join and work on new dMail and dChat implementations. Improvements can be feature or platform based. Teams can either choose from the list below or propose their own improvements. All code is open-source with permissionless access. Code mergers are approved by the core team, and later by the community.

(1) Project visual identity (CI)

A brand's visual identity is the impression created by the aesthetic things associated with your business – AKA, its look and feel. The goal of this open project is the creation of long-term CI. The scope includes; logo, color palette, imagery, graphics, website design, packaging, and typography. The already designed FOUR token icon (Foldit Google Font) should be used as a reference. There is one single tender project open in this category;

The Project's website is an online reflection. It showcases the key information and presents the solution. There is one single tender project open in this category;

(3) MVP's UI design and features

The UI is white-label-based, therefore it is minimalistic and basic. The idea is to develop a state-of-the-art design with creative Web3 email and messaging features that can match all the latest Web3 trends while offering new and exciting functionalities. There are six continuous projects open in this category;
dMail UI design + extra features implementation proposal; dMail extra feature development; dMail UI design and features implementation; dChat UI design + extra features implementation proposal; dChat extra feature development, and; dChat UI design and features implementation. (4) ENS

ENS; To simplify W2W communication, an ENS integration is needed. There is one single tender open project in this category;

(5) Decentralized storage

While the platform can support any kind of centralized storage, decentralized storage is the key to any modern Web3 solution. Storage is needed to store encrypted dMail attachments and JSON metadata objects. MVPs come pre-programmed utilizing cloud storage so it's left to the community collaboration to solve the decentralized storage implementation. There are two single tenders open projects in this category;

(6) Subscription

Phase one of the project is PAYGO (i.e. pay-as-you-go) based, which is native to Web3 users but something unfamiliar to Crypto non-native people. The goal is to offer communication transaction subscription-based models so also non-crypto users could onboard and adopt this new technology. There are at least three single tenders open projects in this category;
implementation proposal; implementation, and; integration of payment processors (i.e. needed to enable credit card subscription payments). Specification: Solidity, Vue (TypeScript) Grant points: TBA
